Insurance based healthcare plan will further rob Americans

There is a lot of media hype regarding the various plans proposed by Democratic candidates.

I fear people are used to being forced to pay corporations for everything they need for their survival, and so they will just support one of these plans.

These proposals perpetuate the unacceptable status quo path, which is never going to lead to a fair solution to the problem of people’s access to healthcare in this country.

It is time that the people of the US stand up for what they really want, even according to polls, and what they really need. In fact, what their tax money should already be paying for.

It disgusts me, the garbage I hear propigated on NPR and other media outlets, regarding insurance based healthcare plans. Do people really need a new law forcing them to pay “free market” corporations for health insurance as they do car insurance?

We already are slavishly dependent upon corporations for everything we want and need. Who is the market “free” for? Certainly not the payer of bills.

If we really took an honest look at the way this government is going about allocating our tax money, the money we work for, the money which could be used for a fair healthcare system, I think we would all come to the same conclusion. Regardless of persuasion.

We should be spending our tax dollars to make sure we have an excellent society, with universal access to healthcare–not tied to motives of corporate profit– as well as an excellent educational system accessible to everyone and for innovation aimed at healthier, happier lives for everyone here. We have the money.

We are moving billions of dollars of our own money out of our own hands for unnecessary war, for bribing or sustain our “allies” in various regions, for everything associated with this ad nauseum.

Just follow the money, if you can, and you will see a pattern of robbing the American people of money they work hard to earn, and that as they are spending more and more time away from their family and those close to them in order to earn it.

That money should be going toward making this country a very desirable, less fearful, more incredible and just place to live.

We could have this as our economic agenda, but instead we pay billions to firms like Blackwater.  We spend a record amount of money on war and get into record debt.  Our money should be just that, our money.  But instead it's reappropriated to profit corporations.
