In appreciation of John McCain's gesture.
Ok, I'm a sap. I'm ever hopeful.
In the distant past I appreciated the brakes John McCain put on the insanity from the far right.
I appreciate his gesture in this video.

Jim, it's as if there are two personas
here,
McCain asked his supporters to stop the mischaracterizations of
Obama,
McSame whipped those same supporters into a frenzy in the first place.
Does that make sense?
Interpretation?
I guess one can interpret this a few ways:
-He is being a politician and wants a political career AFTER the election.
-He is being human and simply realized he went too far in nurturing base instincts amongst some.
-etc.
I guess I was interpreting things as a sentimental fool ;)
