The DCCC should stay out of AZ-D1, let us choose our own candidate
I am so sick of the party
heads in DC funding a hand picked candidate like they are doing in AZ CD1.
Howard Shanker is by far the best candidate, he is the most qualified, most genuine
and most capable. But none the less, they don’t back the best they back Ann Kirkpatrick
and fund the hell out of her. Howard is still strong and I think he will win
but come on let us chose our Democratic nominee with a primary, not DC pocket
books.

Same happening here in District 2
The DNC has said they will not support our canidate John Thrasher who is trying to unseat Trent Franks. I have met him and talked to him for 2 hours and I believe he has a great chance of getting rid of Mr. Franks who was known as the scum of Arizona when was in the state house. Please go to Thrasherforcongress.com and give money or support if the party sees that he is raising money maybe they will start supporting him.

You should really do a little research. The DNC (Democratic National Committee) does not support "candidates" period. They only support nominees, and presumptive nominees (i.e., Barack Obama).
You, and the original poster, may be referring to the DLC (Democratic "Leadership" Council) which is made up of faux-Democrats who are in fact self-appointed "leaders," like Rahm Emanuel, Joe Lieberman, and others.
These are the "centrist" New Democrats who have caused Democrats to lose elections for over a decade. They are, in actuality, bagmen for the K Street corporate lobbyists. They despise Howard Dean (for being too "Liberal"), and work in direct opposition to the DNC.
