There's an Impeach/Peace March in San Francisco on January 27th @ 12:00 noon.
A lot of us would love to go to D.C., but San Francisco is probably the next best place to be.

IMPEACHMENT RESOLUTIONS - GIVE TO MARIN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVIS
It's time to draft and submit an Impeachment Resolution to the Marin County Board of Supervisors. Like Howard Dean said 3 years ago - "You Have The Power!".
We do, and we start by going about it @ the GRASS ROOTS LEVEL.
County-by-county, state-by-state - this IMPEACHMENT movement will only continue to grow ever larger and ever more vocal.
I am planning on drafting [hope to copy from San Francisco] a resolution to be submitted to the Marin County Board of Supervisors.
Let me hear from anyone else who would like to join in or support this effort.

city and county petition-resolutins
Impeachment Working Group,
A lot of folks will be going to the California Democratic Convention in San Diego the weekend of 4/27-4/29. We can still participate in the www.a28.org (IMPEACHMENT April 28) movement. We need to build enough support during the months of April and May to have cities in Sonomaand Marin counties pass the IMPEACHMENT resolution in May or June.
The plan is to build a strong local coalition for IMPEACHMENT. Then schedule visits with the individual council members ahead of time to explain why we think IMPEACHMENT is a local issue. And demonstrate that we have political support for us and them if they wish to back the resolution. Then we can go to a town council meeting. And if a council does not pass the resolution we will in any advent gotten some PRESS to provide political pressure or backing for Congress to act.The one page resolution-petition for IMPEACHMENT can be used to collect signatures from city residents. The four page "Brief" is used to explain why IMPEACHMENT is necessary for local governments to act.

Dan and I have been doing quite well at a weekly signature gathering downtown Santa Rosa. There are plenty of people out there who desperately want to do something. It's only about 90 minutes and can make you feel much better about what's happening in our beloved country.
