Democrats.com is completely independent of the official Democratic Party and its elected officials and candidates.

We are an online community of grassroots Democratic Party activists that was launched in 2000.

We led the fight in November 2000 to count every vote in Florida. We organized the first protest against the Iraq War when Bush spoke to the U.N. on September 12, 2002. We demanded Bush's impeachment after the Downing Street Memos were published on May 1, 2005.

We do not speak for the Democratic Party in any way - we only speak for ourselves.
